F.A.Q.'s
I am installing a new compressor in my vehicle. The new
compressor does not have any oil in it. How much oil should be added?
These are general guidelines, that should apply to most compressors.
If you have further questions, you should contact the compressor manufacturer for
their recommendations.
The oil should be drained and measured from
the old compressor. If the amount of oil in the old compressor is less than 2
ounces, then 2 ounces of of new oil should be added to the compressor. If the
old compressor had more than 2 ounces then the same amount of new oil should be
added to the new compressor. Please be sure to use the correct oil for the
compressor.
